The right base for every cabinet

ELSTA Mosdorfer has a wide range of standard bases and special sizes for freestanding distribution cabinets as a foundation for embedding into the soil.

Stable base-unit with high weather resistance

The polyester ground-mounted bases from ELSTA Mosdorfer, with heights of 950 mm and 1200 mm, are embedded into the soil down to a defined depth of 600 mm or 850 mm. When fully installed, they form a stable unit with the freestanding distribution cabinet. Like the ELSTA cabinet, the ELSTA base is made of hot-pressed, glass fiber-reinforced polyester and has good UV- and weather resistance is highly resistant to chemicals.

  • Cabinet mounting dimensions in accordance with DIN 43629-2 and ÖNORM E 4382
  • Special sizes created based on these standards
  • Available in the colours RAL 7035 or RAL 7032
  • Integrated strain relief rail (anchoring rail or angle section) for cable attachment by means of clamps
  • Openings in the side parts for temporary connections, for example for construction site power (sealing plugs or slide covers)
  • Plastic base grate (floor grating) is recommended for stabilisation when embedding
  • Base filler is recommended to reduce condensation formation in the distribution cabinet (hydrophobic or expanded clay available as an accessory). This greatly reduces the moist air rising from the soil.

  • Base consisting of two side parts, a rear wall and front plates (top one can swivel, bottom one is fixed)
  • easy assembly by one person
  • Mainly plug-in installation of the individual parts
  • In the assembled state, the base is embedded into the soil down to a defined depth. The cable area is filled with sand and 20 – 30 cm of base filler.
  • A strain relief element (anchor rail or angle section) for securing the cable is either plugged into the side parts or screwed to the rear wall, and can be mounted at different heights
  • Material: hot-pressed, glass fibre reinforced thermoset composite, based on unsaturated polyester resin, coloured right through and halogen-free
  • All metal parts are made of corrosion-resistant material

  • Optionally in the colours RAL 7032 or RAL 7035
  • Strain relief rail (anchor rail)
  • Side parts with construction site power openings (left with sealing plugs, right with slide cover), can be locked from within
  • Delivered in individual parts as a kit; base combinations for combined distribution cabinets under one roof are delivered assembled

  • Painted in other RAL colours
  • Fairground bases for temporary connection of cables and lines with closed cabinet doors (e.g. at marketplaces or event sites)
  • Angle bracket as a strain relief rail
  • Variants for the installation of metal distribution cabinets
  • Delivered assembled and/or with accessories (plastic base grate)
  • Predetermined breaking point on the cabinet-base connection. This prevents excavation work after an accident.
